Club World Service Guide

Club World is British Airways' Business Class offering. During the bitter competition years with Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class, both airlines alternately leapfrogged each other to bring better seats, more onboard features and even better lounges. Now it would seem BA faces more competition from the Middle Eastern airlines that have raised the stakes in the lucrative business class market.

Service Guide

Features of Club World

  • 3 x 32kg of checked baggage allowance
  • Access to lounges including the Galleries Club and Elemis Spa at LHR T3/5 and JFK T7

General Service

Upon arrival to the aircraft a pre-takeoff glass of Champagne, Orange Juice or Water will be offered alongside newspapers and Elemis amenity kits.

The service will commence with two bar rounds (one on flights departing after 2000 local time) with crew passing to take the meal order. The starter will be delivered from the trolley with bread and additional drinks and then cleared away to allow the main course to be delivered. After a further trolley will pass through with dessert and cheese and offering tea/coffee as well as port and liquors. After the service crew will distribute bottles of water and offer Inflight Retail. Non Sleeper Services at night also have the option of the “Goodnight Express” tray, which is a one-tray service, designed to maximise rest onboard.

In between services the Club Kitchen will be available offering snacks and drinks.

Less than 90 minutes to arrival there will be a second service, which is normally Afternoon Tea or Breakfast depending on the time of day. Longer flights over 10+ hours will have a starter and main entrée option.
